What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is part of the ancient practice of Traditional Chinese medicine. Studies have shown that acupuncture is effective for a variety of conditions.

What does Acupuncture feel like?

Acupuncture is done using hair-thin needles.

Most people report feeling minimal pain as the needle is inserted. The needle is inserted to a point that produces a sensation of pressure or ache. Needles may be heated during the treatment or mild electric current may be applied to them.

Some people report acupuncture makes them feel energized. Others say they feel relaxed.

How long will it take for the first visit?

Approximately 80 minutes for the initial Acupuncture Session.

It takes 20 - 30 minutes to upload the general information and medical history, and read and sign an acupuncture consent when you visit the office for the first time.

We encourage you to make an online appointment, the system will automatically send you an email with the material you should read and sign. You could easily do it at your convenience.

How to make appointment?

Highly recommend you make a schedule through our Online Booking System. You will find a Green Booking Bar at the top page of our website. Just tap the green bar and go throughout all the choices then click Submit. The system will automatically send a welcome letter to you. We encourage you to fill out the Medical History form before you visit the office, so we can spend more time on the assessment and discussing the treatment plan as we expect.

Acupuncture is of great help in what type of disfunction?

Acupuncture benefits anything that might affect the quality of life in the long term, anything that causes pain, anything that aggravated by stress.

Such as   Headache Relief;     Eases Chronic Pain;      Promotes Sleep;   Improve Cancer Recovery;      Protects your Brain;     Digestive Issues;     Hormonal Issues; etc

How many treatments does it take to work?

The number of treatments is going to vary widely from case to case, just like it does in any medical modality. It depends on how severe the condition is? How long it's been a problem? What it is that you looking for? The overall of the patient are taken into consideration. Kind of like a course of antibiotics usually acupuncture is performed in a series of treatments.

For example, Migraine, even if the condition has gone immediately after the first visit you still need two more times treatment to make sure the problem that caused the headache is resolved.
